Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic we are not holding our annual Earth Day event this year. However we are providing opportunties for environmental education through our 2021 Virtual Earth Day portal! Below you will find a variety of educational resources for the topics of Climate, Energy, Recycling & Sustainabilty. These resources are appropriate for all ages and are sourced from PBS, the Environmental Protection Agency, and Waste Management.
We are also holding an Earth Day Park Clean Up for volunteers who are interested in helping beautify our parks on Saturday April 24th from 9:00am-11:00am. Clean ups will be held at Community Park, Twin Oaks Park, Forsythia Crossing Park & Green Belt, Colbalt Ridge-Quincy Hollow Greenbelt, and Firefighters' Park.
