Labor Day Trash Schedule

Middletown Township offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. Offices will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8. Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7 this year.

Residents are also reminded that all trash collection will be pushed back one day due to the holiday. Please plan accordingly and place your trash carts out based on the adjusted collection schedule.

Volunteer Fire Companies & Emergency Medical Services

Middletown Township is served by four volunteer fire companies. These dedicated volunteers keep the community safe from fires and other emergencies. Each fire company seeks individuals who want to give back to the community, whether by serving as a firefighter or aiding in administrative tasks.  Apply to join one of our local volunteer fire companies today!

The Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad is the emergency healthcare provider for Middletown Township and neighboring communities. They have volunteers as well as full-time professionals who provide emergency medical services on a 24-hour basis. Their crews are equipped to provide treatment for cardiac events, trauma and injuries, and other serious and minor medical emergencies while provide transport to medical facilities.
