About the HRC
In 2020, the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors created the Middletown Human Relations Commission (HRC) and charged it with the task of addressing discrimination in the township, merging the board with the previously-established Disabled Persons Advisory Board.
The HRC conducts public trainings, educational sessions, informational seminars, and community activities to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in Middletown Township. The HRC works with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission to address complaints made by Middletown residents related to discrimination in housing, employment and public accommodations.

Current News
During a news conference hosted by state Rep. Joe Hogan, James Henderson a HRC member voiced his support to have House Resolution 379, which would officially designate July 2024 as Disability Pride Month in the commonwealth.
