Labor Day Trash Schedule

Middletown Township offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. Offices will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8. Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7 this year.

Residents are also reminded that all trash collection will be pushed back one day due to the holiday. Please plan accordingly and place your trash carts out based on the adjusted collection schedule.

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors adopts an annual budget to guide spending over the course of the year.  Middletown Township’s budget document received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the fourth time in 2022, making it among less than 1% of local governments in Pennsylvania with the distinction.  Because of its strong financial management, Middletown Township earned a triple-A bond rating from Moody’s in 2020 and 2021.
