Our final fire prevention tip of the month is about fire alarms in apartment buildings. Especially in larger buildings, fire alarm systems are designed to detect smoke and fire, all with the goal of keeping the people inside safe. If you see or hear an alarm going off, even if you can't see a fire, get outside to safety.
