Last night at the Board of Supervisors meeting, June was proclaimed as Pride Month.
June is recognized as Pride Month in the United States and around the world as an opportunity to celebrate sexual diversity, promote equal rights, and build awareness of the challenges faced by the LGBTQ2S+ community and the work that still has to be done.
Pride Month is an opportunity to prevent discrimination and promote acceptance and inclusion of all, and to support he development of harmonious and respectful relationships amongst all members of our community. Middletown Township encourages and supportes the celebration of June as LGBTQ2S+ Pride Month.
