Yard Waste Collection Resumes March 31!
Spring is finally here, and that means it’s time to clean up your yard! Middletown Township’s yard waste collection service resumes on March 31, helping residents dispose of leaves, branches, and other organic waste conveniently.
What You Need to Know:
-
Collection Day: Yard waste will be collected on your normal collection day.
-
Accepted Items: clippings, leaves, prunings, branches, house plants, fruits, vegetables, and other refuse that is generated by yard and garden maintenance.
-
Proper Disposal: Use biodegradable paper bags or containers clearly labeled "Yard Waste." Residents are to place their yard waste in either 30-gallon biodegradable paper bags or in a regular twenty (20) to thirty-five (35) gallon trash container with handles and a removable lid. Containers/bags shall weigh no more than fifty (50) pounds when full. Residents may not use cardboard boxes, plastic bags or biodegradable plastic bags, as these will not be accepted at the composting facility. Tree branches (no thicker than six (6) inches in diameter) are to be bundled into four (4) foot lengths and placed next to the yard waste at the curb. Do not rake leaves into the street.
Keeping your yard clean has never been easier! Don’t miss the first pickup—get your yard waste ready and out to the curb.
