Police Clerk-Typist I (Full Time) (CLOSES 12/14/2020)

  • DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the administrative lieutenant and administrative sergeant, this position will be responsible for handling all public inquiries at the lobby window, by telephone, and by email, processing payments for reports and open records, preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly statistical reports and records, assisting with police department accreditation, filing records, operating various types of office equipment as needed to include PC, fax, copier, and scanner, and other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • QUALIFICATIONS: One (1) year experience in a customer service setting; experience in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel; good organizational, administrative, and computer skills; ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment; ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required of a position in this class.
  • COMPENSATION: $16.66/hour
