Public Service Announcement: No Open Burning Ban

Jump to calendar

The "No Open Burning Ban" has been lifted.

Middletown Township's Fire & Emergency Services Department has implemented a "No Open Burning Ban" for the entire township, effective immediately. Due to the lack of rainfall over the past 30 days, the area is experiencing extremely dry conditions, increasing the risk of wildfires in wooded, brush/field, and mulch areas.
The ban covers all recreational fires, including campfires, bonfires, and outdoor fire pits. The restriction will remain in place for 30 days, after which it will be reassessed based on environmental conditions.

For further details or questions, please reach out to the Middletown Fire & Emergency Services Department.
