Holiday Trash Collection Changes & Township Office Schedule

Trash Collection Changes – New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)
There will also be no trash collection on Thursday, January 1. Collection will be delayed by one day:

  • Thursday’s collection → Friday, Jan. 2
  • Friday’s collection → Saturday, Jan. 3
Township Holiday Office Schedule
Middletown Township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Years Day and reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Christmas Tree Disposal
Christmas trees are picked up on residents’ collection day throughout the month of January.  Make sure all of the decorations and lights are removed.  Do not place trees in plastic bags.

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule Changes
Middletown Township residents are advised of the following trash collection schedule adjustments in observance of the upcoming holidays.
Christmas Day – Thursday, December 25
There will be no trash collection on Thursday, December 25. As a result, the schedule will shift as follows:

  • Thursday’s collection will take place on Friday
  • Friday’s collection will take place on Saturday
New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1
Trash collection will also be adjusted in observance of New Year’s Day:
  • Thursday’s collection will take place on Friday
  • Friday’s collection will take place on Saturday
