Middletown Township understands the expressed frustration from those affected by the gas outage at the Raquet Club apartment complex. Officials for Middletown Township have been actively monitoring the issue and providing coordination and oversight to the parties involved in resolving the matter. At this time, PECO and those representing the apartment complex are working diligently to provide gas service back to the tenants. The following has been relayed to the Township:
- Some of the complex’s buildings will be operational within the next few hours
- PECO currently has approximately 50 workers at the site actively repairing the issue
- Temporary shower units will be delivered to the complex today
Middletown Township will continue to be involved and we suggest anyone concerned contact the representatives of the Racquet Club apartment complex and PECO for more current information. Additionally, it’s the Township’s understanding that tenants will be advised of the status by representatives of the apartment complex.
